System-based tool management

TTS & TTM by NOTTER

The TTS (Tableting Tool Scanner) by NOTTER is a pioneering laser measurement system that can be used to quickly and easily determine both the exact debossing dimension (functional length) and the overall length of the tool in a single measuring process. The TTS only needs a third of the time required for manual measurement.

At the same time, the TTM (Tableting Tool Manager) – the system's powerful measurement and management software – provides important additional information, such as the operating time, failures or repairs of the respective tool, as well as enabling the incorporation of resource management for presses, turrets and even whole rooms.

The current version, TTM20, is SQL based. Developed by NOTTER, it offers maximum flexibility when it comes to realizing customer requirements.

An assembly function can be used to compensate for fluctuations in the debossing dimension and create suggestion lists, which can be used to ensure that all available tools are used regularly and that the entire tool set wears uniformly over its service life.

Case study: Product adhesion

Once the customer had switched to tools coated with NOTTER Plasmachrom® , they were able to manufacture products without any production disruptions or formulation changes. In addition, the biocompatibility of the coating will ensure from now on that there is no chance of toxic Cr6 compounds coming into contact with the customer's product – this has even been certified. In the event of an audit, the customer can present a corresponding certificate.

  • Robust tablets
  • Shorter cleaning time
  • Certified biocompatibility
